Vertigo’s Best Summer Ever 2006

There is a simple way to describe the flying in Macedonia : There is a heck of lot flying there!

In two weeks of the Vertigo International Gathering we didn't fly for 2 days only! Not because it was raining or too windy. Nope! The weather was not a factor. We simply needed a day or two rest between. Why? Well, this was our ordinary day: We wake up and go for a morning sleder! We pick up, and then go to breakfast! We eat the breakfast on the launch and go for a fly.

Middle of the day met XC flights, long, dong and strong! We pick up after landing and go for another flight, normally, yeah? If there was time we were doing more flying in the afternoon, soared, thermaled, landed and went in search for food, a group event would normally ended up in a crazy party in a bar till early hours in the night.

The next morning, there was noting that couldn't be fixed with a gallon of coffee and couple of energy drinks. And than it started again: We would fly… retrieve… brunch… fly…. fly…and then more flying and fun, and food, and drinking and red bull and flying and….
