Vertigo’s Best Summer Ever 2006
report by Marko Georgiev

The next day, we were driving on a top of Vodno, (1050m asl) mountain towering the capital, with our new brakes and our new shinny windshield on it. Vertigo has many friends and everything is possible, even getting car parts on a short notice! That afternoon we flew in nice and easy thermals, enjoying the steady summer air. Just perfect.

Week or so later, our competitors came back from FR in great flying shape. Vertigo was finally complete. Our International branch was about to arrive, and the summer was getting hotter and hotter.

We immediately hit the flying sites in the country side and spent days flying, thermaling, doing 50-60 km on a regular basis, doing local comps and simply hanging out, having tremendous fun!

On one sunny day, Sander Koyfman, US pilot arrived in the country. With that ‘Vertigo International' was starting to assemble! The MKD Flying Adventure was starting. Sander healed his jet-leg with 2 hours flight, just couple of hours after we picked him up from the airport! In the days the Vertigo members from Holland , England , US, with friends from Finland , Slovenia and other places from the world gathered and the fun really kicked in. And the flying…. now that is what we call flying!
